Your setlist decides how the crowd receives you (a setlist full of deep cuts nobody knows won't land as well as your real hits, no matter how big the room is), and every song played gets a little reach bump out of it. Build one once, then just pick it any time you book a gig.
Money is about who shows up: a bigger room means a bigger crowd means a bigger payout, and even a half-empty room still turns a real, if smaller, profit. Fans are a completely separate story, driven by how the show actually goes: a weak setlist or a shaky live performance can genuinely cost you fans even on a night that made good money, while a tight setlist and a strong performance can pull in a real bonus on top of the usual crowd. Turnout climbs as your fan count catches up to a room's capacity, so a bigger room than you're quite ready for is a real stretch, not a guaranteed sellout.
